My Bio
DJ Bluesilver
At just 16 years old, I dove head into the exhilarating world of DJing as a hobby! I loved practicing.
Our friends would take turns spinning tracks at basement parties. I bought my own turntables and began honing my skills with vinyl records at home.
When I went to college, I initially pursued a Theater/Acting major before switching gears to TV/Radio.
I had an amazing time as a College Radio DJ/On-Air for over two years, where I ran the soundboard and mixed music for two fantastic shows. Plus, I got to be the audio production director for our radio station.
After College, I jumped into the TV industry as a production assistant, working with audio, video cameras, lighting, and graphics. One of my proudest moments was serving as an Associate Producer for a PBS nationally televised documentary called "Heaven Touches Brooklyn in July."
Eventually, I shifted my career from TV Production and freelancing in Audio Visual to a full-time role in Corporate Audio Visual for over 23 years. In August 2020, during the Covid19 pandemic, I embraced another exciting change and became a full-time Webcast and Podcast Producer which is what I currently do full time.
After a little break from DJing, I reignited my passion and, in late 2016, transformed from a hobbyist to a paid mobile DJ side business after rocking my niece's party as the DJ.
That's when DJ Bluesilver - BluesilverAudio was born.
